The NutriVet eye rinse is just a rinse, not a treatment for an infection. It won't hurt but it probably won't help in this case. Unfortunately I cannot tell much from the photos. We have a glitch in the system that won't allow me to enlarge them. I suggest you use this ophthalmic gel for a few days (if he is otherwise acting normally) but if no response or he gets worse then he needs to see a vet. It's ok to use to clean the eyes but if one eye is tearing there is probably something wrong with it, possibly an infection, and this will need to be treated with a different product which only a vet can prescribe.

I wouldn't worry too much. If she is tolerating you wiping it, just clean it as needed with with a warm wet cotton ball. If she is pawing at her eyes or rubbing her face on the ground, or seems to have any other issue going on, call your vet and get her in for an exam. This product may help, though I doubt its entirely necessary. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetericyn-ophthalmic-pet-gel Thanks for asking Boop by Petco!

Hello. Poor Kitty has a pretty significant upper respiratory infection. It could be caused by a bacterial or viral infection. The eyes look pretty irritated so while cleaning the eyes gently with a little warm water is fine, I would recommend having your veterinarian take a look & see if any eye or oral medications are necessary. You can start her on an L-lysine supplement ( an amino acid that may help to suppress the virus ) just in case this may be related to a herpes type virus very common in cats. There are many different kinds available at PetCo. But you should have Kitty seen as soon as possible as she does look quite uncomfortable. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Many times cats come down with a viral upper respiratory infection due to the herpes virus. Antibiotics typically do not help treat a viral infection but a supplement such as L-Lysine for cats can help lessen the duration and severity of the infection. You can find this supplement online or at your local pet store. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
