I'm not as familiar with the Oxyfresh brand. The Oratene products are amazing and they have a brushless gel as well. ( https://www.allivet.com/p-5484-oratene-veterinarian-antiseptic-oral-gel-1-oz.aspx ) Glad you are getting the other products. Hope they help!

Dental treats don't really work that well. I personally think they are a waste of money. I think your best option is using Oratene products. The water additive is the best and easiest to use in my opinion. ( https://www.allivet.com/search.aspx?SearchTerm=oratene )

Home dental care is one of the best ways to help keep your dog's teeth and gums healthy. I would wet the toothbrush (you can get it at a pet store). You can also use a children's toothbrush. I would then use Pet approved toothpaste. There are wide varieties of flavors. Never use human toothpaste, baking soda or salt. While safe for you, these cleaning agents can be harmful to your dog if swallowed. Lift your dog's lip and brush with a gentle motion to clean his teeth. Just like you would your own teeth. Most pets will not allow you to brush the inside surface of their teeth, so typically you can just brush the outside portion of their teeth. Make sure you reward your dog after! Ideally, this process should be done daily. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

You can clean Buck's teeth using a Pet-safe (dog formula) toothpaste, available through most pet stores or your vet. Dog toothbrushes are available in different styles including a small toothbrush like we would use for a small child or a finger brush (slips over the end of your finger and one side/end has bristles) and brush his teeth like you would you own. Alternatively, Dental chews or bones or antlers are a great way to give him something to chew and help to keep his teeth as well.

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! Here is a list of the products I typically recommend: 1. CET oral rinse 2. CET enzymatic toothpaste 3. Oravet chews 4. Plaque off 5. CET chlorhexidine chews Not all of these will work but I have had some mixed success using all of these. My favorite is the Oravet chew as it employs an additive known as Delmopinol to prevent tartar formation. Oravet chews are only available in veterinary clinics so you may have a hard time finding this one online. All of the other products you can find online. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
