Dogs on high-quality commercial diets do not need vitamins. Dogs on homecooked diets definitely need to take a vitamin. For the supplements, I'm not familiar with Pet Natural Vermont Calm specifically but the ingredients look ok. It's true that they are not regulated, so we have to go on company reputation. The ones I know and recommend are Zylkene (different supplement) and Composure (same supplement as the Vermont ones). I like and trust the company that makes Thunderspray, so if it's helping then stick with it. The pheromone product that I'm most familiar with and feel does help is called Adaptil. I hope that all helps!

Hi there. You could try a daily natural calming supplement such as Zylkene or Composure, if you want to. An Adaptil pheromone collar can also be helpful for mild anxiety issues. If these things don't help, you may want to consider seeing a veterinary behaviorist to discuss a more comprehensive treatment plan for her anxiety issues, which may include prescription medication if needed. You can search for one in your area here: www.dacvb.org

You can try NaturVet Quiet Moments Calm Chews with Melatonin and see if this works. You can pick this up at your local Petco and give as directed on the container. If this does not work, he may need an anti-anxiety / sedative. Something may also be bothering him as well so it may be worth having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hi there and thanks for your post on Boop by Petco! I would recommend calming supplements for your pets that have L-theanine in them which can have a calming effect. I would recommend a product called Composure from VetriScience which comes in a liquid and chewable form. I have the product linked below: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-laboratories-composure-canine-bite-sized-chews I hope this helps!

Try Zesty Paws Calming Bites, Composure chews (VetriScience) or Zylkene (Vetoquinol). Be aware that not all products will work for all dogs. The trick is to find the one that works the best. If Maggy's anxiety is severe, she may need prescription medication. Discuss options with your veterinarian.
