Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! In the US we do not charge to write prescriptions (as far as I know). The laws in the UK must be different. Robenacoxib are prescription so there is no way to get the drug with out your Vet approving the prescription, My suggestion is to ask for a larger supply, 3 months or more with refills. That way you do not have to pay the prescription fee that often. I hope this helps and have a great day!

Nausea due to car sickness is different than nausea due to internal illness. Metoclopramide treats nausea due to internal illness, so there is a good chance this medication won't work for this purpose. You can however give motion sickness medication, so just ask your pets veterinarian about over the counter options for him, or ask for the pet formulated motion sickness medication called Cerenia.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Unfortunately you didn't provide your dogs weight so we can not give you doses. I recommend calling your Vet when they re-open. In the US it is not legal to prescribe medications with out a label and the medications not reconstituted (made in to a liquid from the powder form). Are you in the US? Also in the US we do not prescribe Acetominophen ( https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/tylenol/ ). I recommend calling your Vet regarding that medication as we can't recommend giving it to dogs. I am sorry but if you want to re-post with Ringa's weight we can probably help with the Amoxicillin).

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You could consider using a medication called meclizine which may help with motion sickness. Without ever seeing Mini, we are unable to prescribe a dose for her. However, this is something your veterinarian can prescribe for her as long as they think it is safe based on her medical history. This should help quite a bit and only has to be used on an as needed basis when she is going for a car ride. Best of luck!

Hello, without knowing the reason for the Pred., I cannot comment fully of this particular situation, but yes, Pred. is often associated with the elevation of liver values. I would definitely have Piluko on a liver protectant like Sam-e with milk thistle ( we have Denamarin here in the US ). As for the vomiting, your vet may recommend the metoclopramide or another medication such as Cerenia to control it. You can also try ginger root as it does have anti-nausea properties. The dose is wide, from 15-200 mg/kg every 12 hours, so start low & look to find a ginger root capsule that contains no other ingredients, especially xylitol. Make sure you tell your vet if you decide to try this. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
