Hi. Mydog is infected with mallassezia. There r also some embeded black spots in his hair folicules. He’s bn washed with ketoconazole shamp for 5 times. No dandruff any more but still i find pyodermic pustules on his body. 3 questiones: 1st- is ketoconazole shamp enough? 2nd- can i add chlorohexidine mouth wash to ketoshamp for antibacterial advange of it? My seven month old Persian kitten has developed some fungal infections all over his body .. I consulted a vet and he suggested to use dermachlor spray or kiskin lotion and prescribed to use ketoconazole tablets if the condition get worse.. it has been since 3 months .. now he's not taking food properly and find it difficult to poop.. and became inactive.. what should I do now.. My dog has ringworm on front limb, at least I'm almost certain it is. I have ketoconazole cream 2%. She is a licker and she will lick the cream off. What should I do? If she ingest some of the cream will it hurt her? What's best way to handle this situation? Should I try tea tree oil or something else. She's very affectionate and loves to give kisses but I have 3 small kids around also.
