regarding kidney blockage in a male cat: how does that happen? we went away for a week and they had a pet sitter, but might have been short water for almost 20 hours on the last day. He eats dry food mostly and is given some canned food in the morning, but not much. Paul Newman indoor cat food. just checking to see if the sitter was at fault.

Hi, I have 2 male cats that are 2 months old and 3 days ago their brother died and there was a lot of yellowish pus coming from him before he died. They aren’t vaccinated also. My 2 male cats now are Tiger and John. Tiger doesn’t eat, doesn’t drink, shake a lot, vomits a lot (sometimes with pinky blood), has yellowish pus getting out from his anus or something around it I am not really sure. The other one, John, doesn’t vomit but has a strong diarrhea. Please I need help. Thanks

we are in Laos. our vet has advised to "starve" our sick litter of puppies that have vomiting and diarrhoea of food and water for 5 to 8 days while giving them saline once a day. 3 puppies have now died and the 4th after 5 days is very skinny and weak. I suspect the cure maybe kill or cure. Is this right ? thank you john

Last month I rescued a male cat approximately 3 to 4 years old. He has a hearty appetite and wants to eat constantly, the problem is he's nothing but skin bones. He looks so fragile it breaks my heart. I just need some suggestions, I'm tired of hearing take him to a vet, not everyone can afford to do that. Hello. I have a cat that gave birth to some kittens 4 hours ago. It seems like one of them doesn't understand how to feed of the mother. We're thinking about bottle feeding it, but it is 12.00 in the evening here I live, and everything is closed until 8 in the morning. Should I be afraid if it will die overnight? We adopted a 6 month old puppy from the animal shelter approx two weeks ago. He is experiencing a very runny stool. It is often liquid with mucus or almost water as well as a straining and high frequency. He also has normal stool movements. He is drinking heavily, eating and very playful. Nothing appears wrong but this issue. We have fed him consistently and added rice and pumpkin to his diet. Is this Normal? The shelter stated he had a checkup and full shots as well as fixed. John

Subject: BEHAVIOUR. When I sneeze,Charlie runs up tp me and sits looking quizzically at me,but if I cough ,he runs away from me and cowers. If I cough while we are out walking, he stops walking immediately and slinks down to his belly like he were trying to hide. His reactions to sneezing have been prevalent since he was about 1 or 2 years old, but I have only become aware of his reactions to my coughing in the last two years, Is this normal canine behaviour - and why?
