Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This product is labelled for human use and has no information available for animals that I could find. I would say that most of the ingredients formulated in the phytoplex are safe for use in dogs, however, use with caution as there is no information on its safety in animals. There are safer options out there such as Vetericyn or hydrocortisone spray that I would recommend before using Phytoplex. I hope this helps!

A pheromone collar, such as the Adaptil collar, may help decrease anxiety. Gradual desensitization is also strongly recommended. Calming chews, such as Composure chews (by VetriScience) may help but they are not "magic pills". You will need to modify her behavior. This may require the assistance of a certified trainer.

You can try HomeoPet for anxiety. They sell it at PetCo. For my terrified puppy mill dog I used the supplement Solliquin. Another product people recommend is rescue remedy. A pheromone diffuser can help as well. My dog took several years to relax in our home. I recommend having places for Brandy to hide and get away when she wants. Letting her come to you and not forcing the situation is best. Have treats and toys available to get her interested in being with you. My boy was much worse when picked up or restrained. He does better when he can get on the couch and sit with me as long as I don’t physically hold him or pick him up. The best thing for him was taking him to obedience class. He loved being with other dogs and learned quickly. He became more confident and relaxed from the classes. Be patient, neglect at a young age can be difficult to overcome, it will take time and lots of love. I’m so glad you’re taking care of Brandy. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help y

I am sorry to hear that your pet ingested some of your diet pills. Even though the diet pills are from plant extract, you never know if this could potentially be harmful for your pet. I would recommend calling pet poison helpline to talk with a toxicologist and determine what, if any, treatment is recommended to care for you pet. I can't find any information that this product would be harmful to a diabetic. The main ingredient is tryptophan, an amino acid that has ben purported to have calming effects. It has been used to treat mild anxiety disorders in dogs, however I wouldn't expect it to be especially effective to calm a dog that is acutely stressed by fireworks.
