1. Get her some antibiotics: https://www.petsworld.in/corise-clivet-suspension-20-ml.html 2. Apply this salve to her wounds. It also has a fly repellent in it. If you don't do this, she will get maggots in the wounds. https://www.petsworld.in/himalaya-scavon-cream-50-gm.html 3. Feed her some high quality, high calorie food like kitten wet food: https://www.petsworld.in/royal-canin-kitten-instinctive-cat-food-1-2-kg.html 4. Keep her inside for at least one week so she can heal.

Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. These special treats can be beneficial. Howeever, specific cat food for urinary problems is far superior. You should be able to buy this prescription urinary food at your vet. Another problem that makes male cats prone to urinary troubles is being overweight. !8 lbs is quite heavy and, unless your cat is a very big breed, he may be obese and needs to lose weight. Chronic cystitis/UTI is also caused by stress. If your kitty is the sensitive kind and easily stressed, you need to find potential stress factors in your environment and remedy those. Try some Feliway diffusors or spray to make your kitty more relaxed.

I recommend feeding Hills a/d. It’s easily digestible, cats usually love it and it is very calorie dense so Watson will start to recover quickly even if he doesn’t eat that much. I would also have a dry kitten food available at all times and offer some tasty cat treats to stimulate his appetite. In addition to feeding many meals daily increasing his exercise will help build muscle and also stimulate his appetite and speed his recovery. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Watson.
