Hi there! Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Vomiting is sometimes seen with conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis and chronic kidney disease, among many other conditions. If she is otherwise doing fine, dietary indiscretion appears more likely. It may be something as easy as just changing her diet to something that she can tolerate better. However, an examination by a veterinarian as well as minimal diagnostic data would be needed to rule out more concerning things. You can start by changing her diet to a sensitive stomach type diet. If no improvement, have her examined by a veterinarian to start therapy if needed based on findings. If you think she is overweight, you can consider feeding her a weight loss diet such as the Hill's metabolic weight management diet. Good luck!

It's great that you want to work on some training with Boomer! Most cats really enjoy this - and despite what people often say, they're very trainable if you're patient and have tasty rewards :) There are lots of good options available for training treats. Personally, I like Temptations, Blue Wilderness, and Zukes brand soft treats for training. You can also use tiny dollops of canned food as a training reward, if he prefers this.

Io am very sorry to hear that Pumpkin has gained some weight. It can be a very common problem in middle aged cats. I would advise attempting the following; Start by weighing Pumpkin today either at home or at a vet's office (will be free weight check) Feed two meals evening and morning. No grazing Reduce the amount of food in each meal based on his ideal weight (should be on label of food packaging) Increase exercise - fetch, laser pointer chase, and even walking on a leash and harness Chang to a reduced calorie / diet food

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There is diet that would be perfect for him because it can help him lose weight and it is also well-balanced. It is the Science Diet metabolic weight management diet. If you wish to not use a weight loss diet then any of the Science Diet foods for adult cats would be great for him. Good luck and have a great day!

You may want to look into a prescription diet like Hill’s Metabolic for weight loss. It’s difficult to know exactly how many calories he should be eating without knowing what his estimated ideal body weight is, but in general I recommend reducing food and treats by about 25%. Any exercise can help - if he likes a feather or ribbon type toy or a laser pointer you could start with 10-15 minute sessions twice daily.
