My dog ate candy now she's lethargic won't eat or move please help
Hi, thank you for using Boop by Petco! Poor Gretchen!! I highly recommend you take Gretchen to your Vet ASAP or an emergency hospital now. Some candy contains xylitol which is highly toxic to dogs. It causes low blood sugar and liver failure. Another possibility is a stomach or intestinal obstruction (the wrappers are stuck and need to be surgically removed) or pancreatitis secondary to the candy. After the Vet does an exam they will want to run full blood work and possibly belly X-rays. I hope this helps and I wish Gretchen the best!

Human products are made for a different pH than what a dogs normal skin should be so long term use may cause problems. They do make different products for pets, such as conditioners, gels, and even dye base on what your need is. Any local petstore has all the supplies. Yes there are some over the counter products you can try such as the thunder shirt or an Adaptil collar or diffuser. However if you want something that will work without fail I would try Alprazolam or Valium but these require a prescription through your vet so schedule an appt soon. I hope everything works out for your pets and happy holidays.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I highly recommend vaccinating Spooky for his health, for the cat he may breeds health and his future kittens health. He should be properly dewormed, receive his FVRCP (feline distemper series which helps prevent infectious diseases) and his rabies vaccine. It is always best to be proactive about their health!
