How lucky of you to visit Germany recently! I would check to see if it's possible to ship the ones you like from Germany to Bosnia & Herzegovina. I'm not very familiar with the inventory of dog harnesses in your country, and given that many things can easily be shipped, it might be the best idea to have the cute and comfortable ones you say in Germany shipped to your home :-)

Once dogs become a custom to human food, it is difficult to get them to eat dog food again. You do need to make sure that Freddie is getting the appropriate nutrients and so you need to either work with a veterinary nutritionist if you’re going to home prepare his food or find a company who sells human style dog food that has all the essential vitamins and nutrients. Otherwise it can become a test of wills and some dogs may go up to three days without eating. Whatever you decide to do, if you decide to force Freddie to eat dog food, do not give him any treats or any other supplemental food. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Check Fred very diligently for fleas and /or flea poop near her tail and hind legs. This does sound like she has fleas, especially if you do not do regular flea prevention. I doubt this has anything to do with eating her evening meal. If you find fleas or flea poop (little black specks of dirt, that turn red when put on a white tissue and wetted with a drop of water), you will need to do the following: Unfortunately fleas only hop on the body of your dog when they want to feed, then they hop off again and stay in your pet's environment. So you need to treat all pets in the household as well as the environment (which contains the fleas, their eggs and larvae). Flea treatment: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also non-carpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae and eggs which live off house dust., Disp

Poor Fred. It sounds like an allergy. You can give 1/2 of an adult 25mg Benadryl twice a day every day if this helps with the itching. Also, make sure you are using a high quality monthly flea preventative from your vet. Most of the OTC flea medicines do not work well. Also, be sure to treat your house and yard for cleans if necessary to get rid of the fleas. Fleas don't live on the pet but in the environment. They only get on the pet for a feeding then jump off. Finally, if he isn't improving I would try to get him to the vet as he may need a steroid shot or some other type of allergy medicine and/or antibiotics to help him feel better. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately pictures aren't loading right now, and our tech team is working on it. The Help 'Em Up harness is my favorite in its comfort for the dog and its usefulness for the human. https://helpemup.com A GingerLead is helpful for temporary use.
