2yr dog is lathargic, and aggressive if you go near his back legs. Yesterday, he was playing fetch, running around, happy. Today he was sluggish and has progressed to not standing or eating. He is still drinking water and urinating but our typically VERY active dog will only get up to drink/urinate. He wont lift his head unless he hears a loud noise. Normally goes for three walks a day and plays fetch in the park. He had no interest in walks or fetch or eating. At all.
My sister was playing fetch with buddy, my dog, and it hit him on the right side of the face. When it hit him he helped around five times and it was really loud. His eye has been half closed for about 10 minutes. Is something wrong?
While playing fetch my puppy cut her carpal pad. Is this something that I can care for myself or to you think she needs stitches? I don't see a place where I can upload a photo. I've washed it with soap and water and lightly wrapped it and put triple antibiotic cream on.
I was playing fetch with Zeus inside and he slipped on the rug and now he is limping. What should I do. I felt around and did not feel anything and it isn't swollen.
My dog and I where playing fetch about three days ago. And he came back limping. I looked him over and it’s just one toe on his left paw. There is swelling and a bit of discomfort.
I took my dog out for a walk for about 40 minutes, for maybe 10 of those minutes we were playing fetch and he was running fast. Nothing seemed wrong directly after that, but then I left him for about an hour and 10 minutes to get dinner. I came back and he had a limp on his back left leg. He’s not whimpering and doesn’t appear to be in pain, it doesn’t look like anything is out of place and he will let me touch it with no problems. Should I be worried or wait a couple days to see if it stops?
Is it true that dryfood label are written before they are been exposed to high temperature, then it will lose its nutrients?. I'm lost, many pages advice to switch to raw food since its healthier for pets because dryfood is causing many health problems in pets!
Is pydialite safe for pets to eat and soak in? How does it help? How does it help reptiles skin?
Is grain free dog/cat food better for my pets?? How do I know how to pick a good quality food??
My dog is a pug x jack Russell. Usually her tail is curled up, like a typical pug, or straight behind her. For the past couple days it hasn’t been. She also hasn’t been nearly as active. Although she does go on walks - but she doesn’t want to play as much at home - eg, tug of war, fetch etc. She didn’t eat her dinner last night, which is very rare for her. Considering she was overweight and is now being given less food (on recommendation from a vet check up). She is a bit over a year old.
My cat was just exposed to an aerosol fogging indoors. Label says it can be toxic to pets, what symptoms should I look for
We live in a apartment with our dog, and prior Mj was able to go to work with my boyfriend at the farm and run all day if she pleased, but now circumstances changed and she has to stay home while we both work. I come home on my lunches and take her for a walk and play fetch, and then we take her for another walk when we get home. But I’m scared she may be getting not enough exercise and becoming depressed. What should we do? is it okay to leave a heeler/mix in the apartment a few hours a day?
