We can certainly try. Post again with your question, just know that we legally cannot provide a diagnosis or medication in the absence of a physical exam and a VPCR (veterinarian-patient-client relationship). You may need to find a veterinarian to examine Buddy. Most veterinarians will examine small pets. If a specialist is needed, they can refer you to one or seek a consultation with a specialist. The larger veterinary reference labs have specialists on staff for consultations by practicing veterinarians.

Thanks for reaching out about your guinea pig. This sounds serious and should not wait until Saturday. Anorexia for 2 days is a serious concern, four to five days might be fatal. You might have to check for clinics open later in the evening. Offering food and water via a syringe might improve things, but is not a cure. Check with the Petco veterinarian to inquire on their experience with exotic animal. Investigating which local veterinarian has the most exotics experience might prove beneficial. Good luck.

I would recommend buying a cage with plenty of room for Daisy and Stella to move around. If they are new additions to the house I would take them to a vet for a good exam to make sure they are healthy. At local pet stores they sell bedding and food for guinea pigs. I recommend handling them often which helps make them friendly and become a good pet
