we are getting are first dog what do we need
Ensure the puppy has been fully health checked, microchipped and vaccinated and contact the vet involved to confirm they know the puppy - I see you have her down as 6weeks old and spayed/neutered - this is very early and you should question the breeder as to if and why this has been done. You should arrange a puppy safe area of the house (indoor crate or partitioned off area) with no low hanging wires or cords they can chew or become tangled in, have plenty of spare, war, soft bedding and at least 2 food/water bowls, puppy training pads (if using) and an appropriate sized leach and collar to start training around the house. Have some appropriate sized chews and rope toys (avoid human items such as old shoes etc as this can encourage unwanted chewing of important pairs!). Ensure a dog sitter/walker or daycare is available if you will be away for longer than 4-6hours and arrange a vet check within the first 3days to ensure all is well! Good luck

Other fun things are a safety blanket, collar and leash, id tags just in case, Benadryl tablets in case of sting etc at a rest stop, and sounds like you have the rest covered! Happy travels to you and Bella!

I’m getting a kitten in about two weeks. I’ve never owned a kitten, so I have no idea what supplies to get. do you have any suggestions?
It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food. I am getting a new puppy in 8 weeks! What all do I need to do to get prepared for the arrival of our new family member?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Hello. I will be picking up my French bulldog/boxer tomorrow. What type of treats and toys are great for this breed of dog? Note I will be transporting the dog via car after pickup.
Thank you for submitting your question. Congratulations on your new dog! Indestructible toys are going to be best until you see how aggressive of a chewer he or she will be. Young puppies are not as destructive as older puppies and adult dogs. You may want to try a variety of products to see what this dog will like best. Kongs, puzzle toys and Nylabones are a good variety. You just want to make sure that pieces cannot be bit off of any toy. Nylabones can be hard on the teeth if the dog chews too aggressively. As far as treats, start with peices of the dog's regular kibble. There will be a lot of stress with moving to a new home. Additional diet changes can lead to diarrhea. I hope this information helps!
