Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ella. She is likely a mix of breeds known in the United States as a domestic short hair cat. However, I suspect she is predominantly Russian Blue. I hope this information helps!

It sounds like LaLa could be in heat! Cats in heat vocalize a lot and are more affectionate than usual. Their behavior can be extremely annoying while in heat, so I'd have her spayed if you don't want to deal with this anymore. Best of luck.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by protocol steps. Typically this surgery is a final option if a cat has had multiple problems with ear infections that are not clearing up or keep happening. It's a last step option because it leaves the animal deaf in that ear.

Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Lilith. I agree that two months is a bit for grief, especially if they were not bonded. I see that she is an older girl, and so the first thing to do is take her into a vet for a health check. Even though she appears healthy, a sudden change in behavior can be the first sign of an illness. So have her seen by a vet in the next few days. I would also get a Sentry calming collar and a Feliway diffuser. Both release calming pheromones, and that may help with her behavior. While at the vet, if she checks out healthy, the vet can discuss other strategies to deal with this. I hope this helps!

It is hard to see what those are in the photos. My best guess is that those are some type of cocklebur. I would not be worried about this at all. Just remove them when you see them. If you want to post again with a better photo we may be able to help you more.
