Those look like they are probably roundworms. She would have gotten them from coming into contact with infective eggs in the soil most likely. (From where another dog pooped and that poop contained roundworm eggs, then your dog was nosing around near where that was (even if there was no obvious poop on the ground, the eggs will stay in the soil). It is not a result of the food. You can get effective roundworm treatment over the counter. Look for a pyrantel product and follow the label instructions. Feed stores will generally carry it. Something like this: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/pfizer-nemex-2-pyrantel-pamoate-oral-liquid-2-oz?cm_vc=-10005 Be sure to follow the label instructions. Also, ideally take a stool sample in to your vet so they can do a fecal exam and determine if any other parasites are present. Thanks for asking Boop by Petco!

By law we can't prescribe medication for your pet without first examining him due to the VCPR (veterinary client patient relationship) act. However with that said, do you warmer is pretty much common place at your local pet store or feed store and instructions for use are usually written on the bottle based on your pets specific weight . Also keep in mind that there are numerous worms that your pet could have that are treated somewhat differently. Therefore the best recommendation for Lincoln is to either try a broad spectrum dewormer such as Pyrantel Palmoate or Fenbendazole or get Lincolns fecal tested by your veterinarian to determine which parasite is present so that you know which dewormer will work. I hope this helps!

Hello. Your veterinarian just wants to make sure your pet is as healthy as possible & that any infectious cause of her illness are taken care of first. Then you can worm her & hopefully this will take care of all her problems. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Panacur (fenbendazole) is probably one of the best broad spectrum dewormers. It treats hookworms, whipworms, roundworms and some tapeworms. It is also used to treat Giardia and lungworms. You will need to contact your veterinarian for a dose based on your dog's body weight. Legally, we are prohibited from recommending doses for medications in the absence of a physical exam and a VPCR (veterinarian-patient-client relationship).

Hi there. I'm afraid I don't know what is available in India, but some good broad-spectrum dewormer brands include Strongid, Drontal, and Panacur - you can see if any of these are available at your local pet stores or online. For dosing, just follow the instructions on the package for your puppy's weight.
