Drontal Plus is supposed to be for dogs. what if i give Drontal Plus to my cat? Merrill (my cat) has Revolution and Drontal then she isn't protected from whipworms as she would be with Drontal Plus?
Drontal, either Plus or without, is only for removal of worms after your pet has contracted them, it does not prevent them from getting them. If your pet is at risk of picking them up, because they're outside or hunting, then a regular dose can be helpful. The 22.7 mg Drontal plus is labeled for both dogs and cats.

The type of dewormer depends on the intestinal parasite. If you post or describe the parasite I might be able to help you further. Hello! My understanding is there is no one treatment for my outdoor cat that will address ticks, fleas, and worms. Currently I am using Revolution drops on her. Any advise on what 2 options that I can use together to address all three concerns? Thank
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I like Bravecto for flea and ticks. It is a topical that works for 3 months. Then I would use interceptor monthly for heartworm and intestinal parasites. Or you can use Advantage Multi and the Seresto collar for the ticks. But you are right there isn't a product that gets everything for dogs or cats. Have a great day!

does drontal for cats kill whipworms in cats?
It is not listed to kill whipworm in cats, only tapeworms, hookworms, and roundworms. Your veterinarian can dispense Panacur (fenbendazole) to treat whipworm infection if indicated. Drontal plus will kill the above mentioned parasites as well as whipworm.
