I highly recommend purchasing a water fountain! I have one for my dogs and cats, and they love it. They are easy to clean, and have filters to help keep the water clean. Plus they hold lots of water, so you don't have to fill it up daily. There are many differing types of water fountains, and I will put a link below to a number of different ones. I have the DogIt drinking fountain for my pets, and it's listed in the website below as one of the best of 2015. I hope this helps :-) https://www.ezvid.com/top-ten-dog-water-fountains

Yes, all of these things are generally safe for dogs and can be helpful for the specific issues that you mentioned. As long as she has fresh water available to her at all times, she will drink when she's thirsty - you shouldn't need to worry about making her drink more, as she will regulate this herself. There are no particular health benefits to dogs for drinking more water than they want to each day, so as long as she's healthy and acting normal otherwise, this shouldn't be a concern :)

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I find that dogs will drink what they need. If you feed him canned food that has more water and moisture in it thus they drink less water. In warmer weather and with exercise I bet that Toby will drink more to compensate. Always having fresh waster available will allow him to drink when he is ready and needs to. You can add water gradually to his dry food to trick him in to taking in more water. If you find that this doesn't work and he doesn't drink when hot and over heats then I would have your Vet do an exam. Here are a few other tips! You can try different types of bowels and have multiple down, raise the water bowl up since he is a big dog, make sure the bowls are clean, add ice cubes to the water, purchase a water fountain, add low sodium chicken broth or bone broth to the water. Have a great day!

You can try getting Moka a dog water fountain. It’s provides a continual source of fresh water, and it encourages dogs to drink. I have one, and my dogs love it. You can find them online or at a pet store.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You have a few options here. What you can do is feed him canned food which already has a considerable amount of water already in it. Another option is adding a bit of chicken broth to his water which may make it more enjoyable. Another option is adding ice to the water which he may enjoy more. Best of luck!
