Dexter (cat, 5 yrs, male). Took Dexter to the vets on Friday as he showed signs of UTI (he's had it before), he was given antibiotics and anti-inflammatory shots. He stayed overnight and had catheter. He came home with us Saturday afternoon as he was stressed in the vets. We've been given Meloxicam for him as well as Hypovase and Noroclav. He has had bad diarrhoea for two days now and is crying. Melxicam says to stop if he gets diarrhoea, should I? Worried he is in pain is all.

Can you give me some info on dexocycling 50mg for cats? I have a 11 mth that started last month with a 103 temp, 3rd eyelids exposed, had covenia shot, and week later steroid shot, nothing helped. Today had test, bloodwork fine, neg on felv and fiv. Lost half pound also. Since fuo Vet thinks toxoplasmosis and prescribed this. Since cant dry pill, would a syringe with water after pill work? Dahlia was on Royal Canin and was pooping only every three days. It was very expensive and she lost about 10 lbs. She weighs 96 lbs. The vet wanted her at 80. Now eating small meals and using ProPlan and Nutrish. Not losing any weight
Dede was treated for hookworms in December 2019 and Jan 2020. Her still sample on Feb was negative for hookworms. She is on heartguard plus every 30 days. Over the last two weeks, her morning stool is normal, formed and brown in color. However, her 2nd stool which generally occurs late pm or early evening is somewhat soft and light in color. Nothing changed in her diet. Is it possible for Dede to have hookworms again. Thanks
Dex and Benadryl were administered before Dhpp and bordetella, reasons I do not know why. My question is, will the Dexamethasone inhibit an immune response for the Dhpp and bordetella?

My dachshund has a skin rash on her stomach and under her arms. The rash has red bumps which eventually scab over and then flake off but they do not have puss. She does lick them every once and awhile but it is not constantly. She gets the same rash every year around fall time so I am assuming it's an allergy of some sort but am not sure.
hi, I have a mini dachshund about 7 months old, in the past week she has gotten a rash on her belly and arm pits like pimples some with pus, they don't seem to bother her to much but but dose scratch them every now and then, but today ive noticed that that she is getting little lumps over her back., ive been washing her in oatmeal medical shampoo for 3 days but dose not seem to be doing anything... tammy
