Unfortunately, by law it is illegal for the experts at Boop by Petco to recommend using any drug, including OTC drugs, without seeing the animal in person first. That's because doing so requires a veterinary client patient relationship which cannot be achieved via an internet forum. In addition, the experts cannot say for certain if a specific drug is safe for Dakota. I would give your vet a call to discuss if using an anti-histamine in addition to his prednisone is safe for him. Best of luck.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! They will likely be able to refill it for you as long as they agree with that treatment plan to continue. Your best bet would be to contact them directly and check with your veterinarian. I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you and also to know that it is working well for Pablo. Have a good night!

I would suggest you try one of these: ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Pooch-Conjunctivitis-Allergies-Irritation/dp/B01N0BX1LT/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1524655434&sr=8-2&keywords=isathal ) ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vetericyn-Care-Wash-safely-around/dp/B00VV8ZVP4/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1524655434&sr=8-5&keywords=isathal ) The isathal does not appear to be very expensive. Will your vet call a prescription in to pharmacy like this one? ( https://www.viovet.co.uk/Isathal_10_mgg_Eye_Drops_for_Dogs_Cats_and_Rabbits_Formerly_Fucithalmic/c35510/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI3pKpgarV2gIVz5TtCh2kAAE0EAEYASAAEgJprPD_BwE ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about Lily's allergies. I would highly advice that you consider Apoquel. This medication is very effective to decrease the itch and help with the clinical signs associated with allergies that you describe. The best thing about Apoquel besides its efficacy is that you can stop it at any point so you can consider using it just for the time being while she is affected by allergies the most. That is how I use it for my own dogs and they are going great. Good luck and have a nice day!

Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
