I don't recommend giving her any antibiotics unless directed by a vet that has examined her and confirmed that she actually has mastitis. Also, the amount of antibiotics that she would need depends on the exact antibiotic and the concentration of the antibiotic.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This product is labelled for human use and has no information available for animals that I could find. I would say that most of the ingredients formulated in the phytoplex are safe for use in dogs, however, use with caution as there is no information on its safety in animals. There are safer options out there such as Vetericyn or hydrocortisone spray that I would recommend before using Phytoplex. I hope this helps!

Hello. This may be a pretty low quality food. And adding unnecessary supplements may do more harm than good. You are much better off feeding a good quality large breed puppy food such as the ones made by Purina, Science Diet & Royal Canin. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

It’s hard to say what is exactly going on here but it does look very inflamed and possibly infected. If thenlesionnhas been there more than 2 days and/or is getting worse and is irritating to Doja I would recommend having it looked at by your veterinarian. She may need antibiotics to help it clear up. As far as food is concerned, I generally recommend Hills, Purina, Royal Canin, Iams or Eukanuba. Since Doja is so young she needs to be on a puppy food as well. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. Best of luck.

Hello, sorry to hear about Curtis. Dogs with food hypersensitivities would benefit from a limited ingredient diet or a novel protein diet. Novel proteins to consider include duck, venison, buffalo, rabbit, and in some states kangaroo. I would recommend switching him over to a limited ingredient diet with a novel protein, it may be of any brand, and feeding him only that for 4-6 weeks. That is, while on this food trial, he should not have any additional treats, table food, or other brands of food. If his clinical signs do not improve, then he may need to have a prescription hypoallergenic diet from your veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
