Unfortunately groomers tend to think they know how to empry anal sacs andd offer that as a service. This is something only to do by a veterinarian who knows how to do this correctly. Groomers teend to squeeze the anal sacs from the outside and often cause bruising and possibly even cause damage. Please take CC to your veterinarian and have the anal sacs checked for bruising, impaction or injury and do tell the vet that she was at the groomers.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! It is hard to say for sure without being able to see it. However, you may be describing tapeworms. Otherwise, it may be something from the environment. I recommend that you show these to your veterinarian so that it can be determined if they represent tapeworms as that requires therapy. Good luck!

Here's what to do in the meantime: 1) Clip the hair (if possible) around the area and expose all of the sore skin. 2) Wash/spray the area with just cool, clean water (no soap or other antiseptics) for at least 5 minutes at a time. Do this at least once a day. 3) Bandage the wound with gauze and apply an over-the-counter antibacterial cream (i.e Neosporin) to the wound. Keeping it covered and keeping Matilda from licking it will be the most difficult part of the treatment. You can help keep the bandag

It sounds like Puppy may not like his food, which is why he isn't eating. You can certainly try Tails puppy food to see if he likes it, or you can try a high quality store brand like Royal Canin or Hill's Science diet. I recommend trying a different food that may be more palatable for him.

Place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent licking or chewing until he sees the doctor. A fine needle aspirate or other biopsy can be done to collect samples for pathology. This may provide a diagnosis. Treatment options can be discussed once results are returned.
