Cats Claws Kitten Toys

I’ve noticed that one of my cats dew claws is much thicker than his other claws. It is also yellow in color. He walks just fine without any pain. We also regularly trim our cats nails since they are indoors. About every other week. I’ve read online that thicker claws can be common for older cats, but he is only three. Should I be worried about this?

need to introduce 3rd male into household. he's a gentle cat w no front claws. 2 in house have claws. I think 1 of mine will be aggressive. All 3 are needy cats.

We have to rehome our 10 month front declawed cat. A family that already has three cats (all with claws but supposedly non aggressive) would love to take our kitten. Is it safe to put him in a home with three declawed cats. They also have two dogs that pay no attention to the cats.

Hi I have a question about cat's nails. I have a cat that's declawed & am thinking of fostering a cat that's 10 with claws. I know when cats fight they can draw blood by using their nails (happened with a friends 2 cats). I'm worried about the safety of my cat. If I was to clip the new cats nails weekly, would that keep them short enough that, should she fight with my cat, she'd not draw blood? She seems very sweet so hopefully no fighting but I don't want to take any chances with my cat! Thanks

Hi, I accidentally cut my cats claws too low and it bled for literally a few seconds. It’s stopped bleeding now and she seems okay running around happy not limping or licking her paw. Should I contact my vet Incase? Maybe get antibiotics?

So my cat, Hestia, 2 years old, has somehow managed to totally wreck several of her claws. None are infected, and she doesn't look to be in pain, but it cant possibly be healthy. I'm watching her, and keeping the claws clean, but I want to know, why is she doing this? There is at least one messed up claw per paw, even that weird fifth claw! And her sister, Artemis, has all her claws in perfect shape. She has no other injuries.

My vaccinated cat was in the same room as bat on june 9th. It was 32 days ago. The bat was dead. Unsure of any encounter or exposure from bat to cat. That same day my cat poked me with his claws. Went to ER and cat went to get booster shot for rabies three days later from exposure. Made it thru 10 day quarantine. I was told couple of days ago there could have been exposure to me from bat saliva on cats claws when poked me. What kind of risk of exposure am i at?
