Some cats are very talkative, and can respond when people speak to them. I have a Ragdoll who meows when I call his name, and comes when I call him. He may love your scent, which is why he takes your stuff only. He just sounds very attached to you.

Hello, some cats can undergo different behaviors and may prefer different people at times. This is typically not associated with anything major. However, there are some diseases that may cause changes in attitude. This includes hyperthyroidism and rarely acromegaly. Other signs with these diseases include increased drinking and urinations, a ravenous appetite, and weight loss. This can be screened with routine bloodwork, so have him evaluated by your veterinarian for these. If normal, other causes could include a different fragrance from perfume, body lotion, or laundry detergent that you could be using. Hope this helps and best of luck.

She loves you. Cats are, contrary to common opinion, not solitary animals. Cats love their owners, some more , some less and some get so attached that they do not want to be separated from their "mommy". I have one like that too. She always has to be around me and when I am not in sight or away she meows and looks for me (with a sock in her mouth....)

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This sudden change in behavior could be due to Trouble being uncomfortable from something. With her age, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her and test her blood and urine for any abnormal changes. If everything comes back normal, this may just be behavioral. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

This is a tough situation. Regarding the allergies, you need to speak with your regular human doctor. Sometimes medications may help. Don't feel bad putting him in a room when you have tasks that need to get done. He won't be mad if he is put in the bath room for an hour. This behavior may calm down as well as he continues to adjust to his new home. If you don't want to give him back to the shelter, you may ask friends/family about adopting him. I hope this helps.
