Atopica Cat Medicine

Hi I hv two dogs currently on atopica for allergies, yesterday they had a bath and today they are goin crackers itching is it ok to give them piriton whilst taking atopica?

I can give my dog ​​ketoconazole with atopica

Luna was on atopica for a while but then she started having diarrhea for some time so my vet recommended to take her off atopica since even the antibiotics didn't help her diarrhea. It's been a bit more than a week now that's she's been off atopica but her stools are not solid yet. Is it normal that she still has diarrhea or should it be gone by now?

Cat diagnosed with eosinophilic granuloma allergy testing proved allergies to mites. Currently on atopica, zd,and immunotherapy and pred prn for flare ups. She had her first flare up in 3 months but I don't understand why it randomly flared up. Any other medicine recommended to reduce flare ups. I've read that omegas and canned only food can help. I don't want to keep her on atopica long term.

My cat fights and wants to bite me when I try to trim her nails. Also she claws me shakes her head and spits out the flea pill then won't let me get close enough for days to try again. My vet said she's allergic to flea bites and it causes a skin condition but she doesn't eat enough wet food to get her dose of atopica daily. How can I get her to relax enough to cut her claws, take her pill, and maybe even let me inject the atopica directly in her mouth. She's calm at the vet visits.

Cat licks same area on belly and leg for 5 yrs. Been on Atopica but continues. Grain free food, continues. Tea tree oil on the area, continues. All other behavior is normal, very active, clear eyes, great fur, no issues with toileting, eating or drinking. Started pattern licking after his 2 siblings passed away 2013.

Willis has been diagnosed with eosinophilic granuloma mass in his mouth. We’re about 3 months into treatments and specialists are stumped. Currently on 150mg Atopica once daily, doxycycline twice daily, 10mg prednisone 3 times daily and 10mg Pepcid once daily. They recently injected steroids directly into mass with minimal shrinkage. Now his CBC shows elevated basophils, liver and pancreatic enzymes. Thoughts? -Kim

My caveleir King Charles has IMHA for 5 months. She is down to 2.5 mg of prednisone once daily & atopic 25 mg twice daily. Her HCT numbers have gone up but she has terrible ulcer like sores on her face & other areas with hair loss that we thought the prednisone caused. They have gottten much worse, maybe cushions or lymphoma causing it? Could it be a allergy reaction to atopica or a newly partial raw diet? We are days away from euthanizing her because of the extreme sores..help?

What is the best wet food to mix atopica for cats in. She will try to bite you and claw you if you give it to her orally with a syringe. Should I just starve her until she eats the breakfast portion I give her? Sometimes she goes all day long into the night not eating the heaping table spoon of food until it gets dry and 10 or more hours old. She has to have it every day.

Hello, My pup mylo has been diagnosed with gme, and has been taking a lot of meds since. Atopica, leve,prednisone and mycrophniate. He just started having this rash about 1 week ago. Idk how to send a pic on here but I would if I could. Doesn't have hair I mm the rash but it's also very very red. As you know his treatments with the med is already expensive and he has an appt aug 14 to see his doctor. But I need to know if this is life threating to my pup. I'm super worried.
