My 13 year old chow chow mix developed this raised bump on the back of her neck. It is hard, round and does not seem to bother her when I touch it. She also seems to have another one on her foot. She was at the vet in July 2020 and had senior panel. All normal. Should I bring her back to the vet? She gets stressed and aggressive with them and requires sedation to be examined, so trying to avoid taking her in unless necessary. Also, she is on 4 meds: fluoxetine, gabapentin, amantadine and apoquel

I have a dog who has idiopathic epilepsy. She's on the max dosage of potassium bromide and phenobarbital for her weight. She's had a rough day of seizures and is now in a perpetual confused state getting "stuck" everywhere she's walking, like against a flat wall. I know she's exhausted. I don't have valium for her. I do have 3, 25 mg acepromazine tablets. Is it safe to give her this so she can get some much needed rest?

Adrenal Harmony is advertised as a natural remedy. Can you speak to that? My 10 lb poodle has Cushings and we settled on 10mg of Trilostane...1/2 2x per day. She is 14 and I just thought she was showing signs of age. The meds perked her up but she seems to be having tiny seizures. She freezes and then it is as if she is having a cold chill, just shivers and seems to lose a little of her balance. Side effect of meds or symptom of Cushings? If side effect might this alternative be better?
