This thing is MASSIVE! Definitely bigger than an end table size. But it is very sturdy, good quality.

My husband put this together in about an hour. Our 28 pound dog really likes his new digs, quite roomy for him. The crate looks nice in the room it’s in, we put 2 large plants on top. We’ve only had it for a little over a week, so I don’t know about longevity yet. No issues so far.

One panel missing screw threading; not safe

Not only did this item arrive with cosmetic damage/chipped wood, but the bottom panel lacked screw threading on one side. As a result, the bottom panel does not connect to the side panel on one side. My dog is able to kick the panel and partially dislodge it.
It's a nice looking crate, but quality control is lacking and it has been a real hassle to work with Petco to make this right.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this crate durable? My overly anxious Black Mouth Cur squeezes through bars of any metal crate & works doors open easily. She chews but not thru metal yet. Shes 43 lbs & suffers separation anxiety. I medicate her but need safe crate for short times out
- This is made of wood and would not bee good crate for an untrained dog who isn't used to being crated. Also with separation anxiety I would recommend Impact Dog Crates. They have a specialized one that will be perfect. Don't expect to have anything wooden or cheap to secure a dog with separation anxiety.

Does this crate have a solid bottom?
- The bottom is made from wood, just like the rest of the cate. It comes with a padded mat, the kind you could easily replace with another pet mat in the future. Unlike many kennels, there’s nothing you can slide in or out. So yes, everything is solid all the way around.
