These wonderful rawhide-alternative crunchy bones and sticks have been my crazy pup's "After-Dinner Mint (ie Treat)" for many years now (don't even ask me how that got started!) I refer to them as "Crunchies" because of the giddy crunching sounds he makes while enjoying every last crunchy bite. Sometimes I'm pretty sure he ONLY eats dinner in order to get his Crunchy. But now that his Crunchies come wrapped in crispy dried chicken...... 😄 They're an even BIGGER game changer!! He just can't get enough of 'em!! (Sometimes when I present once to him, he'll literally take it by the chicken-wrap and bite that off completely and enjoy that part first!! And, every once in awhile, he leaves behind the rest of the Crunchy after enjoying the crispy dried-chicken wrapping. My boy's got a lot of silly quirks, but THIS is one of the ones I most enjoy watching him take full pleasure in <3 Despite his sturdy 90 lbs, I've switched to giving him the Mini sized ones (for both the bones and sticks) because my Vet already gives me enough of a hard time about his weight- even though he's super strong & largely muscle. But, once a week or so (after we've done an especially long walk), I splurge by giving him these full-sized sticks, because they just don't come in shorties, and he absolutely adores them too much for me to skip them! Yes, they're pretty pricey (esp compared with the non-chicken-wrapped counterparts).... But he loves them SO MUCH (and I L♥️VE him so much) that I allow myself to take pleasure in spoiling him with these intermittently. (Not to mention that these Steak & Quinoa ones.... are one of the only ones that never get left behind after he eats of the crispy chicken wrapping 😍) (Not to say they're nutritionally sufficient to replace his dog food or anything.... But I bet he wouldn't terribly mind "suffering" through a diet of SOLELY chicken-wrapped Crunchie Sticks 🤪
