90lbs pit has no issues chewing through it. It’s a raw hide replacement , so most people that have left reviews probs have never given HARD raw hide to their dogs. It’s a great product and my dog loves it.

My Doggie Loves them ! I put each one in microwave for 10 sec. Then cut into 4 equal pieces . Product has warning. Pay attention/ Stop pushing the blame on to someone else.

Much like the other reviews indicate, my 50lb dog nearly choked after I gave her one of these treats. It became lodged on her back molar and partially obstructed her airway. Thankfully I was able to get my fingers around it to pull it off (with some effort) but had I not been monitoring her I have no doubt she would have been seriously injured. Smartbones needs to discontinue this product immediately and buyers need to beware.

Please stop selling these!! Our dog almost choked on this. It got stuck in the back of his mouth and he was unable to crack through the chocolate exterior. Thankfully, when we tried distracting him with something else, he was eventually able to release it. The chocolate exterior is so incredibly hard, I do not understand how they expect any pet to be able to chew this. He could have cracked a tooth or choked. Did you not field test this??? Please take these off the market before they kill someone's dog. We are lucky our dog is okay.

I have an 85lbs goldendoodle and I had to physically rip this treat out of her mouth because it was stuck on her back teeth and she was visibly struggling. I then tried cutting this treat with a knife and it was still way too hard to cut through, this treat is dangerous for any sized dog and needs to be discontinued or remade.

Saw in store and thought it was cute, so I bought it for my dog. These are incredibly hard treats, much harder than I anticipated. My dog is a very slow and careful chewer. But the "top" separated from the cup looking part and slipped down his throat. He couldn't breathe and it was absolutely terrifying as I reached down his throat. DO NOT BUY.

I wish i saw these reviews before, I picked these up on a whim as my dog enjoys the other smartbones treats. Like others, this treat got stuck in his back teeth and he was gagging and struggling to get it off. I was luckily able to, but it was one of the scariest experiences I have had and he was extremely shook up. The shell of the treat is extremely hard and difficult to break up.

No, I do not recommend this product.
