Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?
Is it safe to use "crystal" litter after paw surgery?
My cat, cocoa, won't stop peeing outside of the litterbox (even though I clean twice a day) and its gotten to the point where I will have to get rid of him. Please help
I have 2 ferral cats I took in. They have been doing excelent and I nabbed 2 more of the next litter and they are doing excellent. They have been inside 1 month. They are Karats. The oldest are males and the young ones female. The male got sick then 4 days later the other male did. Their symptoms are lethargy, lack of eating/drinking and now throwing up. The only new difference is scented litter instead of non. The vomit is watery. I treated ea for hair balls and feed them food for hairballs.

my 8 year old cat does not drink much water. I changed her to wet Pro Plan Urinary food as suggested by the vet. She uses the poop box. But I have noticed her appetite is less and she lays around a lot more. I am worried about diabetes even though she does not have the obvious symptoms. Was treated for urinary tract problem but vet did not test her urine just prescribed antibiotic. Any suggestions?
My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
Need help asap. 5 year old male neutered domestic short haired yowling loudly in obvious distress, Straining to go in litter box, but unable to pass stools. How much unflavored pedialyte would you give a 6lb senior cat to help prevent dehydration from diarrhea due transitioning to a new food? Can it be given directly with a feeding syringe or should it be diluted in water and if so how much dilution? Thank you.
