Use just like traditional clumping litter. 1. Pour to a depth of 3-4 inches. 2. Remove solids daily. 3. Add more litter to maintain depth of 3-4 inches. Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.

My kitty (age 17) has begun eating kitty litter. I have switched from clumping clay, onto Feline Pine, to Yesterdays News, and now am using Abound which is grass seed. She has eaten every on of these litters that I have tried, so think that what I finally have will not be as damaging to her as all the others I have tried. She has hyperthyroidism, kidney failure, megacolon, and arthritis. She still has a decent quality of life despite these issues, and is holding her own.
