For protecting furniture, this does exactly as it says. My cat enjoys scratching this more than the couch now (yay!). However, the little toy that hangs off is not attached well. My cat pulled it off in the first 24 hours. This is concerning since it can be an obvious choking hazard, etc., and since it obviously is out all the time, there’s no way to monitor them. Attach the toy with something better or just remove it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 cats and they run, play and scratch on the pad. They also Play with the attached toy. They also use it as a nap mat. My favorite part is they use to as a cat scratcher rather than our furniture.
