I can not buy this brand in bulk any longer on 5oz cans, now only 3oz. AND 3oz is now same price as the 5oz. The meat in the can is no longer pinkish and fresh looking but dark meaty color with an odd smell that sets my cat off and he is now turning his nose up to his favorite food. He is so picky and this brand was amazing for him overall. Now when he eats it he is vomiting, or leaving half of it on the plate. The label makes no reference to a change, but the quality is visible.

Great smelling and great ingredients with high moisture which my cat needs due to lack of any water drinking-bought several at store to make sure she liked and she did, then as soon as I bought a case, wouldn't eat, go figure. Glad they took the sugar out that was in it when first manufactured. I'd give 5 stars, cat with 1-2 bites 3 stars, so I averaged it out to 4 stars.

My guess it that Castor and Pollux can not make this claim about Organix, BUT I compared the nutritional analysis to a Purina prescription food for UTI that the vet recommended. I was not pleased with the ingredients, I wanted to feed a completely organic product that was free of pesticides and other harmful ingredients like Organix. My cat if fine no UTI issues and finally sleeping through the night because he is eating a food that has real nutrients.

I adopted a semi-feral cat who had to hand an emergency tail amputation and she’s had some anxiety and pain and loss of appetite. This is her current favorite food after I tried a ton of different types. This cat food seems to have a different texture than most any other cat food I’ve given her and she cleans her bowl. It’s very very soft food. It’s almost like a porridge consistency.

My cats enjoy this food. I know it's organic and not full of bi-products and unnecessary ingredients. I try to feed my cats healthy, so this is the closest thing I do for them. They love it!
