I want to buy toys for my cats so I want to know what colors cats can see better or what colors are cats attracted to?
Hello. I have two cats. One likes to play with balls and chase small toys; whereas the other one only likes to play with pointers. I have read some opinions against this way to entertain the cats because they argue that it can stress the animals and generate anxiety when they don't receive rewards for their actions. I would like to hear an authorized opinion. Thanks!
What type of excersizes can i do with my cat? She is a 6 year old American shorthair (tuxedo) who weighs 10lbs. She is healthy in all other areas, i just want to help her lose weight and live longer.
What are some of the best dental care products for cats?
We found 2 kitties... what exams do they need?
My cat only likes toys with some type of string but then he chews thru them and won’t play with them anymore. What type of toys would be best?
I have two cats, and one of them is getting chubby. How do you put one on a diet in a two cat household? I tried putting my svelte kitty’s food on the counter because only he can jump, but the portly puss is a grazer and leaves his food for later, and señor svelte eats that instead. They eat Blue Buffalo Indoor dry food daily, with a shared can of Fancy Feast every Saturday.
My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
How can I get my cat to lose weight?
Hi, I just got 2 rescue cats 3 days ago and they will not sleep at night. We feed them 1.5 hours before bedtime, and then last night played with the laser pointer for over 3 hours. They would not go to bed. I went to sleep at 3am and at 5 they woke me by breaking bowls and other things. How do I get them to behave and to go to bed? I don’t want to give up on them, but I’m so tired and frustrated. And I don’t trust them to be home alone.
I have two neutered cats who love being outside. We live in a mountainous area with wildlife, so we are trying to keep them inside but they learned how to open doors. We are trying to decide b/w a wireless pet fence in our yard where they wear large-ish shock collars (even though they are smaller for cats) all the time as the company says not to wear for more than 12 hours or to just put cat trackers on them and find them every night. Which is safer?
