Hello. I have two cats. One likes to play with balls and chase small toys; whereas the other one only likes to play with pointers. I have read some opinions against this way to entertain the cats because they argue that it can stress the animals and generate anxiety when they don't receive rewards for their actions. I have two cats, and one of them is getting chubby. How do you put one on a diet in a two cat household? I tried putting my svelte kitty’s food on the counter because only he can jump, but the portly puss is a grazer and leaves his food for later, and señor svelte eats that instead. I adopted 2 kittens at 3 months who are now 10 months old. Brother & sister. Their main area is a room with their beds, food, water, and 2 litter boxes--one is Scoopfree with automatic cleaning, and the other a regular litter box, from which I scoop feces every day.
