May I use this in a saltwater tank for fish only, no corals?
- If you do not have live rock either, then yes. WE do recommend live rock even for fish only tanks, if possible. It really provides so many benefits for the fish.

can this product support a tank for growing corals and having the tank size be ,36 and 1/4 inches long , 18 and 1/4 inches wide , and 24 and 1/4 in
- No, it is a basic daylight type of LED, and cannot support corals. You would need the Reef Capable LED in order to support any corals. BREX

does this light sit on top of a glass aquarium cover or need to be placed directly above the water iteself with no glass in between?

How well would this work to replace one of the "blue" lights for glo-fish?
- The blue in this light is not intense as that in the glofish lights, but it will definitely help make the fish glow more than just a standard white light. With this light you can turn the blues on by themselves, if you wish. BREX

- The switch is actually a 3 position switch and is not automatic. One position for off and one for each of daylight and moonlight.

Will this work on a saltwater tank with an anemone?
- I would say no. They don't even tell the the wattage of EACH LED. LEDs are still in their infancy. I have an Orbit Marine LED Light from Curren with the3 24 hours Ramp Timer and my 1 HEAD Frogspawn is now 8 heads 9 months later HOWEVER that is 4 to 6 inches below the water line. All my LPS are happy but I have them on the upper levels. If you opt for a 3 watt per LED, be VERY CAREFUL not to burn your corals.... sort of like a light saber.... LEDs are powerful! Just gradually adjust.

Hey I have a small floor stand that is 25 1/2 inches in Length and 1 ft in width what is the maximum size tank I should put on it?
I am about to get a crested gecko and have done lots of research, but am nervous I'll kill my crestie. You see, lots of people have different opinions about additional lighting. 1 breeder said a heat lamp killed many of his crested geckos, while another breeder said it killed her geckos when they DIDNT have a heat lamp. Should I get a heat lamp? (My tank is a 12 by 12 by 18, of that helps at all) Also, should that size tank be good for 1 crested gecko for his entire life?
i have a adult and baby bearded dragon i. seperate tanks one tank is probably like a 40g and the other one is pretty big not sure of gallon size. what uvb light is best for them. and could it wait a couple weeks until i get paid or is it crucial today

Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)

My year old has contracted either Ich or velvet. He is trying to scratch against his tank he has white patches but also when I've shined a light on him It also looks like he could have velvet. When I noticed his lethargy and his behavior I immediately transferred him into a smaller bowl to treat him with betafix (all I have until the pet shop opens covered his bowl to leave him in darkness His appetite is normal. He's bloated and is breathing but his gills I think are swollen. IDontWantHimToDie
He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
My new glofish shark has long, white, stringy poop hanging off its body. I may have overfed him his glofish flakes. Is he constipated or stressed from being in a new tank? I treated the water with Aqua SafeStart and EasyBalance. What can I do to get him to poop?
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
