I have been replacing my fluorescent lights with these LED lights for the past couple of months. They seem to put out a whiter cleaner light than my previous T-5 lights plus they do not create much heat. I tried a couple of them and was really impressed so have added 8 more. From the increase in efficiency I expect to so a reduction in my electric bill.

Very satisfied with this light, it offers a more sleek look different than the normal light hood. The LED's are very bright and the night time setting is a great feature, expecially in a bedroom where it's not to bright and will keep you up all night. My new fish and plants are thriving and I will definitely be ordering a larger one when I upgrade tanks.

Product was out of stock when I first ordered it. Was back in stock within three weeks. This is clearly superior to the fluorescent fixture I had for lighting. Adjusted to fit easily over the same opening and has two settings Full daylight and a blue nighttime light. Great product to retrofit an existing aquarium fixture.

Has two great light features. Blue leds are great making a moonlight effect. I bought two for a 55 gallon tank and the other for a 35 gallon tank. They both look fantastic.

Great LED aquarium light. Very clear lighting and bright. The blue moon light is the best feature and looks even cooler. Buy it online it's much cheaper then buying from the stores. You won't be disappointed.

May I use this in a saltwater tank for fish only, no corals?

If you do not have live rock either, then yes. WE do recommend live rock even for fish only tanks, if possible. It really provides so many benefits for the fish.

can this product support a tank for growing corals and having the tank size be ,36 and 1/4 inches long , 18 and 1/4 inches wide , and 24 and 1/4 in

No, it is a basic daylight type of LED, and cannot support corals. You would need the Reef Capable LED in order to support any corals. BREX

does this light sit on top of a glass aquarium cover or need to be placed directly above the water iteself with no glass in between?

How well would this work to replace one of the "blue" lights for glo-fish?

The blue in this light is not intense as that in the glofish lights, but it will definitely help make the fish glow more than just a standard white light. With this light you can turn the blues on by themselves, if you wish. BREX

The switch is actually a 3 position switch and is not automatic. One position for off and one for each of daylight and moonlight.

Will this work on a saltwater tank with an anemone?

I would say no. They don't even tell the the wattage of EACH LED. LEDs are still in their infancy. I have an Orbit Marine LED Light from Curren with the3 24 hours Ramp Timer and my 1 HEAD Frogspawn is now 8 heads 9 months later HOWEVER that is 4 to 6 inches below the water line. All my LPS are happy but I have them on the upper levels. If you opt for a 3 watt per LED, be VERY CAREFUL not to burn your corals.... sort of like a light saber.... LEDs are powerful! Just gradually adjust.
