I found him on a vacant lot and had to bottle feed him for about two weeks. He's now about 8 weeks old and already eating solids, but he hasn't learned to drink from a bowl. I tried using bowls of different sizes, put water on the ground, wet his lips, placed him next to a faucet, etc, but he still won't drink. By night, he's so thirsty that he'll suck at my fingers, I'll end up giving him the bottle. He has no issues eating food mixed with water, but how can I get him to drink from a bowl?

Ten week old Aussie blue mural always peeing in the house even if she just went out. Eats the whole 1/4 cup of dry food and drinks the bowl dry.
My 7 week lab puppy seems to not be able to get enough water. Today he has had 11 oz, but goes crazy at his empty dish or licks rain water. If I were to give him more water now he would drink so fast like he hadn't had water in days. Is this normal?
I was cleaning out my new chicks water dish and found something...concerning. Possible parasite? it appears to be a worm; it couldn't have crawled in since the brooder is inside. I've raised chickens before and never encountered something like this...any ideas of what this is exactly? This occurred on the second day of having them.
