Never carry water to your birds again! Great new design includes a 0.75 inch hose that attaches to a standard garden hose for a continuous flow of fresh water for your flock. Automatic float controls the water level so there is no spilling or overflow. Oversized cover extends beyond the edge of the bowl to prevent roosting and keep debris out of the water. Easy to assemble, easy to clean. Bowl is made of high-density polyethylene, cover is white polypropylene attached to a metal bracket. Designed for use with adult birds (not intended for baby chicks). Measures 14 inch long by 12.75 inch wide by 10.5 inch high, holds 5 quarts.

So my puppy River loves to stand in her water bowl when she drinks and also loves to purposely dump it over. I was cleaning out my new chicks water dish and found something...concerning. Possible parasite? it appears to be a worm; it couldn't have crawled in since the brooder is inside. I've raised chickens before and never encountered something like this...any ideas of what this is exactly? This occurred on the second day of having them.
I found him on a vacant lot and had to bottle feed him for about two weeks. He's now about 8 weeks old and already eating solids, but he hasn't learned to drink from a bowl. I tried using bowls of different sizes, put water on the ground, wet his lips, placed him next to a faucet, etc, but he still won't drink. By night, he's so thirsty that he'll suck at my fingers, I'll end up giving him the bottle. He has no issues eating food mixed with water, but how can I get him to drink from a bowl?
Hey I have a chicken but and I also have a coop but my chickens hate going in their coop I put it on top of my roof cause they like to stay on the roof but they seem to ignore the coop they are cage free chickens
We just brought home a gerbil and she doesn't seem to be drinking a lot of water. also we bought the little creature play house cage and it came with the whole set up. Her food sits on a tray but to get to it she must climb up a tube to get there yet she hasn't figured out how to climb up inside and threw it to get to the food which is her only way.so we had to leave it on her bedding but want her to learn to climb the tube for her food and since it's for hamsters she should too plz help us
