Lowered the quality (durability) of these blankets. Had one for 6 months without Doberman or Lab pups damaging it. Still going strong. New one lasted a couple of hours. Feels lighter made and flimsier.

The tag on the blanket says for pet use only and to discard if any part becomes damaged. It also may bleed color. After washing it still has a unusual odor. Could the dyes or material used contain harmful chemicals?

Hi Oldsubman, These do not contain harmful dyes or chemicals. Additionally, all products receive toxicity and heavy metals testing. Thinking this is an isolated incident or could be caused by that specific washing machine. Thanks,
