So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
I have changed Buddy's play pen twice because he jumps out if them. I step out for approximately an hour leaving him in his playpen with his pee pad, his bed, a blanket, his favorite toy, and he still jumps out. I make sure all doors are closed, and nothing of danger around, but i dont want him jumping over his play pen. HELP WHAT CAN I DO
Hi, I live in a small apartment and I have a miniature poodle she's a pretty well trained dog, however she likes to lay in between entrances and exits and stretch out making us having to walk slower or go around her to get to where we are going like the hallway, the walk space between the living room and etc. PLEASE have any advice? Thank You and God Bless
I'm having a hard time keeping patty focus when I'm training her. My backyard is spacious and lately I've been considering training her in a pen. Is this a good idea to try out?
I need to know the general guidelines on how much exercise and stimulation a large dog requires. I work at a place where a large dog (Great Pyrenees) is kept in an 8 x 10 structure 24 hours a day. It is too large to run in the pen. He is 4 yrs of age and has been locked up at least a year, I used to take it for walks but no longer can. I'm attempting to get the owner to rethink this but require some professional support. The dog is digging and chewing up his dog house.
My 32 poodle has separation anxiety. He stretches at our doors until injury while we are away. We are slowly working up to leaving him for longer than 10 mins but may need an over the counter drug in the meantime. Any suggestions?
Does gsd hind legs pain when we tie them for longer duration coz which they can't really move around much?
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
Do dachshunds many ramps for stairs, couches and beds?
Hi can my new pup stay in a play crate for 6 hours a day everyday with a small morning walk In the morning and indoor potty arrangements. Thank you!
I have an 8 week old puppy that I’m keeping in a play pen during the day. I want to teach him so we will mainful go potty on the pee pad on the balcony. I keep half of his pen covered with a pee pad and he mostly gets it right and potties on the pad in the pen. At night I keep him crated, and half of the crate is also covered by the pad, which he has been good about too. Is this the right way to train him or should I be taking him to the balcony every few hours so he will potty there?
Hi I own a Rat Terrier he is now 19 weeks old. He has such small legs I worry about his joints, thinking of getting him joint supplements.. Do you recommend this? Anything you believe would be beneficial to him? Thanks
