I don't understand why people are giving this matt such a good rating?! it is a thin, cheap, piece of fabric with a rubber bottom. it is probably 3/16" inch think, and the material the dog stands an is already showing wear from just sponge cleaning and vacuum. i have had this item for a couple weeks and its ready for the trash in my book. look for a better matt, or maybe even a washable bath matt, this thing is junk and low quality for the price. i'd say its value is $5.

My dog is a very sloppy drinker and this product absorbs all the water and then I just throw it in the wash here and there. I used to put her water bowl on a towel which she would still soak but not since I put this mat down. It's great!

I bought this placemat as one of my welcome home new puppy gifts. I love it because of its texture, color and it's one that he can't seem to figure out how to chew up! It sits very tight and neat to the floor. The personalization is really nicely done. It is a really good choice for my doxie and home decor and I will be purchasing as gifts for Christmas and new pet owners!

Will this help my dog who can't stand on tile?

The non-slip backing keeps the mat in place, so if your dog stands on the mat he/she should not slip on the tile. We hope this was useful. Have a great day.
