The vet gave Dahlia Synotic 8 ml and TriOtic ointment 15g. First how do you use for her feet and how safe are they because she licks her feet constantly
I just wanted to thank the dr. For her input about my dog bodeen licking his paw. Yes he did have a cactus thorn that i removed, but his constant licking was exactly just like a yeast infection from staying moist. It may sound funny but i sprinkled some Vagisil powder between his toes, and he has left it alone. And the redness is gone. Reapplied once. I hope this may be able to help someone else. Thank you BoDeens Mom.
Our yellow-nape amazon has what we think is a clogged nare. We have been trying to gently flush what we think is a combination of food, dust, dander from her left (nostril) nare. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions? Thank you.
My 10 year old boston terrier has fuchs corneal dystrophy for several years. she is going blind and has all along a blood vessel enlarged. Now it has got bigger and she has also ran into something and it bled some. Is there anything that can be done drops that would reduce size of. She is on pressure drops and I have used NPD antibiotic steroid drops too. But I do not want to use something to make it worse. She also has ofloxacin gentamycin etc. Drops that were given to her when she was diagnos
So my dog had an anal sacculectomy 2 days ago, but his right sutures have opened a lil/bleeding, so I brought him to a dif vet today- They prescribed him Dermavet ointment 2x day (he's on Rimadyl/Clindamcin too) Well I forgot to mention he got a couple injections on his surgery day too "Ceftiofur 50 mg/ml Naxcel Injection + Antiseden 5 mg/mL Injection" I'm just wondering if I should still give him the ointment too? He's gotten diarrhea all over the area too, from some incontinence :/ Thanks
My vet recommended a lime sulfur dip for my dog's red itchy skin. I made an excess amount of the dip.. I have it in a 1 gallon container. How long can the solution be stored? Room temp? Refrigerated?
This is the infection, now i applied that cream named lorexane recommended by the vet but the problem is that he is licking and is making it worse. While he is licking the medicine goes and blood comes
Our 8 yr old female beagle has an ulcer/ lesion on the end of her back/base of tail, about two in long by 1 in wide with pus and few drops of blood. We put a cone on her, then tried Vetericyn 4 x day for a month with no change. So now we have been rinsing, then putting .04 Chlorhexadine on it 1 x every few days, rinsing again. No improvement. It seems to be getting larger and deeper. And now her nose is warm. She is still eating a lot and going out to urinate, but she is laying down more.
So I saw this thing that says "if your rabbit has mites, put vegetable oil, and it will clear it up (twice a day) and once a week for prevention" is this true? Also, I have the vegetable oil all set up in a squirt bottle, how do I apply it? Squirt it down the side? Just squirt it in?
Hello. My dog Nala has some dry itchy skin I think down at the end of her back, beginning of her tail where she use to, I believe, have mites a while back. I have a moisturizer cream that’s for rough dry skin called Ammonium Lactate 12% Cream. It was prescribed to me by the V.A for my feet & other dry areas. Would it be ok to rub a little bit of this on her dry spots? I’ll send a picture of the bottle. Thank you & god bless.
First I will say, no she does not have ringworm or naturally missing fur. This is a bottle baby I'm fostering and as you can see, her skin is irritated and rubbed raw in a few places. She has a URI and 8s getting clindamycin injections. I often have to wash her bottom and feet after she goes poop but she screams when I touch her feet. What can I put on her irritated skin to ease discomfort? She doesn't groom so wont lick it off. Is neosporin or a skin salve safe to use?
so I was posting about this yesterday, nini anal abcess, which isn't inside the rectum, its a couple hairs away from there, its draining good, she still is eating and drinking, ive put a collar on,so no licking, ive still not gave up on the idea of figuring out the dosage of a 250 mg cephalexin for a 7 lb dog(68mg I think)but its in capsule, anyways, my ? is,whats the best way to wash it?should I put her in the tub?no soap? not even dial soap?
