What’s the best way to treat the cut on my dog’s paw? We’ve been spraying it with the skin spray (pictured), bandages and wraps and doing our best to keep him from licking it. The inflatable donut was ineffective so we’ll pick up a cone today. Thanks in advance!
Hi My cocker spaniel has a pink lump on his paw pad, and he has been licking it for a couple of days. How can I heal it at home without an expensive Vet bill? I do have colloidal silver spray would this help.
My older basset has a large lump on her neck that often bleeds. We found that using A&D ointment reduced the bleeding a bit bc it’s not cracking as often but now it smells and I can’t clean the gunk off without it hurting her. My cat has a wound about 1/2 inch in diameter. It doesn't look infected but she is licking it a lot. We have a cone we can put on her, but I need to know if we can use Viaderm-K.C. Cream on it which we have left over from our now deceased dog. Also can we use Germi-Stat Gel 4%? We will take her to the vet at any sign of infection, or if not healing.
I took my dog to the vet Friday morning and he prescribed amoxicillin/clav, 875 milligrams split in half, half twice a day and 5 milligrams prednisone, one a day for 7 days, he said it should be feeling better in a couple days. He keeps rubbing it to where it starts to bleed. I now have to put an e collar on him. Is there anything else I can put on the wound to help heal it. I can’t afford to keep running him back to the vets. I don’t even know what it is. I’m thinking a hot spot
