Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
Is there anything I can give my cat OTC to calm it enough to take care of the mats?
My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
Is there anything that I can give my Maine Coon kitten to have her relax a little bit in order to get her terrible mats out of her fur?
Best flea treatment for a cat
What can I use on my cat to keep her from licking her fur off
My fluffy cat has mats by her back and tail. I think they will only get worse. She will not let me brush her for more than a few seconds. I was given Gabapentin in January for her to go on a plane. Can I give her some to relax her so that I can groom her?
Yesterday, I noticed my cat had a few mats on her lower back when I was applying her monthly flea/tick treatment. She is semi long haired and is skittish around people and only comes out from under the bed when no one is around. With help, I was able to brush out some of the smaller mats before she freaked out and went back under the bed. I plan on attempting some of the larger ones tonight but am curious as what would be the best way to do it since she is so scared?
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors, and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I'm thinking of buying an electric heating mat for my cats. Are they safe to use? Could it burn my cat even on a low setting?
Why is my 9 week old kitten scratching and how can I stop it
my cat has a couple of big hair matts on her back is there something i may give her to calm her down enough to try and comb or cut them out
