Very similar to the non-grain free version, maybe a little wetter/looser. (On just the second can.) My dog eats it just as well as the other version. Still wish customers could get the 12-pack price at the store instead of having to order through the website for delivery.

My senior collie has been eating this food for about ten days, and is in a better mood and more active, like she's feeling better. (She has mild kidney disease.) The food is the only change, so it must be agreeing with her. She eats it readily, despite having become a picky eater over the past six months. My only complaint is, why doesn't Petco offer 12-pack pricing at the store, or a free ship-to-store option like many other merchants do? Because of coupon codes or offers, customers can get free shipping easily, so offering 12-pack pricing at the store would increase Petco's profit *and* provide better customer service. One of the shipping boxes for today's order had broken open and a can fell out when I picked up the box, but luckily all 12 cans were there. Pickup at the store would eliminate such shipping problems.

This is truly a pate with no added lumps, not even the carrots are hard for my pup to eat. She has a very sensitive tongue.

It seems to be a very good and more natural food, unfortunately my dog is completely not interested in eating it. He's sick, so encouraging his appetite is important.
