- you want your dog crate to be big enough for your pet to walk in the door without ducking their head. As long as you are not having any issues with your pup going potty in the crate, feel free to get the size for an adult Sheltie. Pad should fit the bottom of the crate

I bought 4 large because they said length of 36 inches but they seemed small so I measured and all of them were 33 inches. Is that normal to be 3 inches off?
- It's only 35" long. If you check the tag, you'll see the dimensions listed on the website are incorrect and it's in fact smaller than advertised.

What size wire crate does a 15 pound Dachshund need...small or medium?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. Can you advise me on what sized Crate to buy? I'm not sure how big he will be and I was looking online and thinking of buying a 36-inch Intermediate size crate. I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
I want to line my dogs crate with a blanket or pad so he can be comfortable when he has to stay in it for a few hours, but he keeps chewing and ingesting blankets. Is there anything I can do to stop this behaviour so that he doesn't eat the blanket?
We are desperate for help with crating Woody. From 4 am on he whines and cries. We give him a VetriScience Composure Behavioral Health snack before bed, and give him plenty of toys (right away and when he starts whining). We even got a larger crate for him (30 inches), and cover it so it's den like. Is there anything stronger that will keep him sleeping longer? What can we do to help him ease into crating? We are ready to give up on crating/put him in another room :(
My mixed black lab has a small "wound" (about 1.5" long). He licks it often and sometimes tries to chew at it a bit. He's fixed. He is about 90 lbs. and about 3' long from snout to the base of his tail. We kennel him into a large crate (42"L x 27"H x 27"D). There doesn't seem to be anything in the crate that could cause this type of irritation/wound. We walk him frequently outside (at LEAST 6 times a day) and sometimes tie him up outside while we're playing or working (he's never outside alone).
