I adopted a sick Leopard Gecko from a local pet store. The pet store doesn't take good care of Leopard Geckos. They have dried Mealworms, no calcium, no humidity, and their all crowed in one hide. My Leopard Gecko Geo wasn't eating Mealworms or Crickets. She is underweight and her tail is skinny. I started to get concerned so I started syringe feeding her daily with ReptaBoost. Today I saw her throw up some of the mix. It looks like she was struggling to regurgitate. Also the humidity is high.
What are some of the best staple feeders to give a baby, juvenile and adult bearded dragon?
How should you care for your reptile during a power outage?
What is the appropriate temp and humidity is the enclosure suppose to be for him to eat regularly.
Hello, I have a leopard gecko. He's a juvenile, and I normally feed him regular/small mealworms, but the store accidnetly gave me giant mealworms. Would it be okay to feed them to him, or would they be to big and to much of a change. Also I heard they could bite him, can they hurt him?
Hello i have a question about my red slider turtle. I gave my adult leopard gecko (female) a large horned worm (size of a pointer finger) as somebody I know told me any size will do, since they’re mostly water. She struggled to get the worm down, and its head was visible in her mouth for a short while. Her abdomen appears “full” and the color of the bright blue worm is showing through her abdomen and neck. She’s stretching her body out and swallowing/licking non stop. Other than that, she appears normal. Should I be worried, or?
How do i get my dragon to eat greens and things? She only eats moving things- worms and crickets. And i soak her in sink everyday because she doesnt know what the water bowl is and about egg binding inside her stomach.
Can a bearded dragon have mealworms? And if so how often?
Hello, I have a western fence lizzard and i think i fed him too much. My live crickets got loose in my house and i hurriedly grabbed them and put them with my lizard they were 1/2 or smaller. I think there must have been around 10. My lizard is a new adult and he keeps holding his mouth open which is strange and he is pretty fat. Fatter than usual.. There is also an unusual dark area around his blue stripes. What should I do? Is he going to die? Is he sick? Thanks so much in advance!
I recently purchased a leopard gecko, he is albino. He has not been eating and at first I thought it was the stress of moving into a new cage, but I think he is blind and he will not eat. He is noticeably losing small amounts of weight and he is by my best guess only a couple weeks old. I have tried crickets and meal worms in his tank (the crickets only for a short period of time because they can bite) and I also tried to hand feed him meal worms.
