Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae are a great feeder for a wide variety of reptiles, amphibians, birds, and invertebrates. High in calcium, black soldier fly larvae are also known in the trade as Phoenix Worms, ReptiWorms, and CalciWorms.

  • - Each container of Black Soldier Fly Larvae is ready to feed out as soon as they arrive
  • - Extra Small Black Soldier Fly Larvae measure approximately 1/8", and make perfect feeders for animals that like small food, such as dart frogs
  • - Small Black Soldier Fly Larvae measure approximately 1/4", and make perfect feeders for bearded dragons, chameleons, leopard geckos, fat tail geckos, and many insectivorous invertebrates
  • - Medium Black Soldier Fly Larvae measure approximately 1/4" - 1/2", and make perfect feeders for bearded dragons, chameleons, leopard geckos, fat tail geckos, and many insectivorous invertebrates
  • - Large Black Soldier Fly Larvae measure approximately 1/2" - 3/4", and make perfect feeders for bearded dragons, chameleons, leopard geckos, fat tail geckos, and many insectivorous invertebrates
  • - Once the worms began to pupate (if they're not eaten by them), they'll turn black. At this stage, the larvae contain a LOT of calcium, and should be quickly fed to your pets. Adult flies can also be fed out - chameleons in particular seem to love these!
  • - Soldier Fly Larvae can be kept at room temperature, but keeping them at 55-65F will keep them in the larval stage much longer
