SMZ TMP DS Horse Prescriptions

My ferret has been taken smz tmp for almost a week still has diarrhea what else will help with that. He has a adrenal tumor

My Great Dane has been prescribed SMZ TMP for 3 weeks. However, for the last 2 days she has been lethargic. She has not had diarrhea or vomiting. She is being treated for large pimple like lesions around her muzzle.

We are trying to determine if my dog is getting an overdose of SMZ-TMP. Pills are 480 mg and she’s getting 1.5 tablets. She weighs 80 lbs right now, but the vet seemed to have prescribed this for her previous weight of 93 lb (from last year when she had this round of medication). Is she getting an overdose?

My dog has not been able to urinate since 3:30 am today even after getting several cups of water throughout the day. I would like to know if this is a symptom of kidney failure or if it could just be a bladder stone/blockage? She’s on several medications including SMZ-TMP, Previcox, Tramadol

What is the dosage for a 50# dog? We keep smz for our horses

our 12 almost 13 year old welsh corgis has developed a problem with her back legs since Dec. 2016. When she stands her back legs slide out from beneath her, the Vet says it is neurological. We are giving her Rimadly 25 mg and Cosquin DS plus MSM. Sometimes she barks like something is bothering her rear side? No xrays from Vet.

I have a 12 year old Retriever/Labrador, female dog that has been on a diet of Lamb and Rice coupled with Dinovite...about 1.5 tblsp. Do you recommend switching her to a Senior diet and if so what ingredients or brand of food do you recommend? Lucy is very healthy but has some Arthritis in her hind knees.....I give her 3 tablets of Cosequine DS each day with her food which seems to help. thank you, Frank Villars

My Momma Dog has lost a lot of weight, very weak, lethargic, she was extremely hungry all the time & drinking excessive amounts of water. But today she won’t eat or drink anything. She had 10 puppies about 6 weeks ago, I do know they need to be dewormed, I got SENTRY WORM-X-DS & administered, but now momma dog is acting like this. What could be going on? What should I do? They all have a vet apt on 12/28, I don’t know if she’ll wait that long!?

hi. i have a rottweiller. aged 4 tears. male. past from few days like seven days his stomach not well. was not eating properly. i had given vitamins and had deworming ,. still after that also he is not eating and passing seldom bad stools.then from last two days i have given him a pet syrup containg levofloxasin and ornidazole two tea spoon daily . still condition sameeating 1 sweet today and vomited.sleeping most of the time.can/shall i give him 1/2 bottle saline, if so which one NS /DS/RL?

Vet gave SMZ960 "1 tab twice daily" (960x2) bloody diarrhea. I obeyed but online vet sites say *once* daily. I stopped after 5days . Dog losing interest in finishing food (1st time ever) & losing breath while eating; as if food is not going down. 30 min later, eats more. Diarrhea improving, but after pooping, dog normally jogs home, but layed down as if eliminating wore him out. Last year, had same bloody diarrhea, same vet (don't know prescription), but none of these issues. Thank you.
