Are screw worms and Cochliomyia the same thing because I saw white flying bugs outside my backyard today and unfortunely I brought hachi outside. I did some research online and I'm worried that the white flying bugs were screw worms or Cochliomyia. Should I be worried because online says the bugs can get under the skin?

Hey I live in a duplex of an old 70's home and I'M COMSTANTLY FIGHTING BUGS GETTING IN! Now I know it's rare for dog and cats to go into anaphylactic shock from bug bites but are there any poisonous bugs I should be concerned about if they bite them like a spider? Could you give me species? Also are there bugs I should worry if my cat Angel eats she's the awesome bug killer of our house and often she kills the loan roach that gets in from outside or stink bug? We live in Memphis, TN.

Maggie has a red raised patch of skin under her left eye where the hair is gone on her cheekbone no other spots. We've been sprayed for bed bugs the last 5 months and she and her sister have stayed at the vets overnight during and after the spray. Could this be a bed bug bite? My dog is on Nexgard taken the 1st of each month. We are going to go camping this coming week and want to use more of a repellent to prevent bites from happening vs Nexgard which doesn't actually repell bugs. Is there an option to use something else in conjunction with the Nexgard that was taken to help repell the bugs from bitting?
