Would you recommend Sentry of Feliway for a cat who excessively meows and has recently started spraying? She is completely healthy, always has food and water available, but is probably stressed out due to a recent move and added roommates.
I need to teach a very rambunctious stubborn cat who loves breaking things to not get on my table of wine glasses and decanters. I'm considering purchasing this product to help, but I'm unsure if it's safe. It's compressed air with tetrafluoroethane as a propellant and it would spray directly onto the cat as the table is only a foot wide. Is it safe to use? Or is there an alternative way to ensure he doesn't get on the table when I'm not around?
After one of our indoor cats got outside yesterday for literally a minute, our other cat hisses and growls at him sometimes now. Seems to be scent related, i have wiped doen both cats with unscented baby wipes. We are keeping one cat in our bedroom, switching them from time to time. I got some soothing pheromone dispersers. Anything else we can do? We leave for vacation in two days and probably need to keep them separated when we are gone. Thanks
15 year old cat is deficating all over living room. Thought it was scatting, gave her plenty of love, catnip, and put lavender fragrance. Problem persisted, so I got a motion sensor that screams when she goes in the corner where she has been pooping. Now she is going in the middle of floor! Tried new litter, new box, old litter, everything!
My cat started to pee on my bed. I have read that spraying mixture of peppermint oil with water would deter them. Is it safe
Frmr feral cat spraying vents &a carpet. Lots of room and cat toys. Still using Lbox too. Likes to be left alone. Won't stop spraying and marking.Help
I have started my cat on gabapentin, been five days. Tigger has been spraying on my bed 7-8 times, not alot just a few drops no more than size of half dollar. We moved two mos ago and there has been a cat coming around house so thinking he is anxious/stressed. I put animal repellant around house and have Feliway plugin. Ive sprayed my bed with a product so he wouldnt do again but didnt work. He does not have a uti, i think its behavioral but dont know how to stop it!
I have a new house and two cats. One who has been bonded to one of the renters in the house for years, but is new to the house (two weeks here free reign). The other is new to us and jew to the house. He is very social and loves us a lot, but he is exhibiting the early signs of some spraying problems (he is neutered) and seems to be anxious grooming. Is there a spray I can get to help him relax until he is comfortable in the new space with the new people?
Are diffused essential oils dangerous to a cat?
Trixie is my indoor cat but I have an outoor cat that has recently come into the picture and my vet believes he is the reason for trixies off behavior and lack of appetite. Trixie has been examined and had bloodwork and nothing irregular found medically. My vet suggested feliway spray but in shopping for the classic spray I see it’s for travel situations and there is feliway muliti cat diffuser for issues between cats. I prefer the spray over the diffuser but will they have the same results?
Can I diffuse essential oils around my cat?
How to use pheromones to get cats to get along? If I get the plug ins how many for a 3 bedroom home? If I get the spray do I just spray the room? Would calming treats help my cats get along?
